Creator Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
Welcome. If you’re reading this, it’s because we think you’d be a great person to share our story with your audience - whether that’s our fullblood Japanese Black Wagyu beef, our MELOS tallow skincare line, or both.
We’re a vertically integrated ranch operation in Luling, Texas. We control every step from genetics to your doorstep. That’s the story. And we want it told by real people who actually use the products, not by a script.
These terms apply whenever you participate in a Long Hill Wagyu creator program - whether that’s a gifted product campaign, a paid collaboration, an affiliate partnership, or any other arrangement where we send you products or compensation in exchange for content. By accepting a gift card, product shipment, or any form of compensation from Long Hill Wagyu, you’re agreeing to what’s below.
1. You understand FTC requirements
By participating in any MELOS by Long Hill or Long Hill Wagyu creator program, you represent that you understand and will comply with all applicable FTC guidelines, platform policies, and laws governing sponsored content and brand partnerships. Long Hill Wagyu is not responsible for any consequences arising from a creator’s failure to meet their obligations in this regard.
2. Suggested product guardrails
We want your content to sound like you. That’s the whole point. But because we sell food products and skincare with real science behind them, here are a few guardrails worth keeping in mind.
You’re welcome to share:
• Your personal experience with the product (“I love this ribeye,” “this tallow balm made my skin feel softer,” or any other positive personal experiences you had with the product)
• What’s on the label — ingredients, certifications, nutrition facts
• That our cattle are 100% fullblood Japanese Black Wagyu, DNA-verified
• That Long Hill Wagyu is a vertically integrated ranch operation in Luling, Texas
• That MELOS tallow is triple-rendered at low temperatures from cattle raised humanely and regeneratively on native grasses
• Recipe ideas, cooking tips, taste descriptions, how you use the products
• That our ranch operates regeneratively on native grasses — no hormones, ever
Things to avoid:
• Making health or medical claims about our products (“this cures inflammation,” “this prevents disease”)
• Misrepresenting the breed — our cattle are fullblood Japanese Black, not “American Wagyu” or crossbred Wagyu
• Claiming or implying that you are a spokesperson, employee, or official representative of Long Hill Wagyu
The simple rule: share what you love about the product and how you use it. If you want to dig into the science behind our beef or our skincare and share what you find, you’re welcome to — just make it clear that those are your own findings based on your own research, not claims made by Long Hill Wagyu. And if you’re ever unsure whether something is okay to say, just ask — we’re happy to help.
3. We’d love to share your content
By participating in a Long Hill Wagyu creator program, you grant Long Hill Wagyu a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to repost, reshare, feature, and use your content across all of our channels — including our website, social media accounts, email newsletters, in-store materials, and paid advertising (boosted posts, Meta ads, and similar). We’ll always credit you when we share your work.
You retain full ownership of your content. This license means we can amplify it alongside you — organically and in paid channels — without needing to come back for separate permission each time.
4. Independent creator status
Participating in a MELOS by Long Hill or Long Hill Wagyu creator program does not make you an employee, agent, or official representative of Long Hill Wagyu. You’re an independent creator sharing your genuine experience with products you’ve received. You may not enter into agreements, make commitments, or represent yourself as acting on behalf of Long Hill Wagyu.
5. Your content, your responsibility
You’re responsible for the content you create and publish. That means:
• Your content must be original and not infringe on anyone else’s intellectual property — including music, images, and video clips
• Your content must comply with all applicable laws and platform guidelines
• Any claims you make about our products must stay within the guardrails in Section 2
You agree to indemnify and hold Long Hill Wagyu harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content — including intellectual property disputes, unauthorized claims, or any breach of these terms. In plain English: if your content creates a problem, that’s on you, not us.
6. Content removal and program participation
Long Hill Wagyu reserves the right to request removal of any content that violates these terms, misrepresents our products, or is otherwise inconsistent with our brand values. We also reserve the right to remove any creator from the program at any time, for any reason.
If we ask you to take something down, please do so within 48 hours.
7. A quick note on taxes
Any gift cards, products, or compensation you receive through a Long Hill Wagyu creator program may be considered taxable income. You are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes. For campaigns with total compensation under $600 in a calendar year, Long Hill Wagyu is not required to issue a 1099 — but the income may still be reportable on your end. When in doubt, check with your tax advisor.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top. Continued participation in any MELOS by Long Hill or Long Hill Wagyu creator program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. The fine print
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These terms represent the entire agreement between you and Long Hill Wagyu regarding your participation in creator programs and supersede any prior understandings.

Thanks for being part of this.
